InsureSmart Consultancy was formed in 2021 to inherit the general insurance business from Amicus Financial Lifestyle Planning.  We have been providing insurance advice and services to business, property owners and householders in Australia for over 20 years.

Jolene Son, Director and Practice Principal

Jolene is the founder of InsureSmart Consultancy.  She has been working in the general insurance industry for over 20 years, having experience as Account Manager & Claim Officer and Head of General Insurance.

Jolene brings extensive industry knowledge and specialized expertise to her clients.  She believes in maintaining long term relationships with her clients and takes the time to thoroughly understand her clients’ goals and objectives.  Her extensive product knowledge and rapport with Underwriters in the broker channel allows her to seek out and obtain the best terms for her clients at the budget they can afford.  Jolene believes in providing wise tailored insurance advice to her clients.

Her clients have also experienced her superior service during claims time knowing that she can handle claims efficiently, minimizing down time to their personal life and business.

Jolene specialises in Insurance Broking for Commercial Properties, Business Interruption, the Hospitality & Food Industry. She also works with external industry experts and to name a few, they are Business Interruption Analyst, Claims Preparer, Loss Adjustors/Claims Assessors, Insurance Risk Surveyor, Property Valuer and Quantity Surveyor.

Jolene is also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.

In her spare time, Jolene enjoys time with the family, other interests include dining out, reading, learning new skills, and sports.
